Here
is a photo of the flutes used in the last performance. The
recorders (or beak flutes according to baroque nomenclature), from bass
(F) to sopranino (C); they are made of different wood. They are used for
the ballads, in solo or in polyphonic composition. The flutes are often
supported by Gemsch Horn sound in the arrangment. These instruments confer
a Reinessance and Baroque style to the ballads. The traverso flute is
played as a solist. |
In
the photo you can see a small harp used for ballads. It is made of oak
wood and it has 22 metal strings. In spite of its small size this harp
produces a rich and brillant sound. |
